We spoke with LähiTapiola's Customer Communications Development Manager Terhi Käkelä, Art Director Eija Lappalainen and photographer Katri Lehtola about the significance of images in customer communication.

"In line with our brand, we want to communicate simplicity, peace of mind, presence and authenticity through images."

How can images convey emotions, photographer Katri Lehtola?

"We aim to plan shooting themes that are easy to relate to and communicate compassion and empathy. During the shoot, I paid special attention to directing the models, as conveying a sense of empathy in images is often very subtle. It can be a small body gesture or a nuance in facial expression. The quality of light also matters when seeking peace of mind and authenticity in images."

What need do photographs serve at LähiTapiola?

"It's also important for us to communicate our services, benefits and ways to do business to our owner-customers through visual means. The images produced with Keksi strengthen and support the content of our messages."
